Unstrapped The Podcast is a raw, unfiltered space where masculine lesbians share their stories and everyday realities.Hosted by JJ, a 30 something year old blerd (black nerd) and stud from NYC, and occasional guests. Each episode we dive into identity, culture, relationships, and the nuances of being a masculine-presenting woman.Whether you're part of the community or an ally, join us for real talk, humor, and insights that remind us we’re more alike than different.

Blending humor, vulnerability, and cultural critique, Unstrapped The Podcast explores themes such as gender expression, identity, love, accountability, community-building, and mental wellness from the perspective of a masculine lesbian. Each episode is structured around segments that invite both introspection and entertainment, with a goal of fostering connection, allyship, and a deeper understanding of the masculine lesbian experience.

Word of the Day📜 – A quick, lighthearted way to learn about labels and terminology within the lesbian community. The host and guests test their knowledge while creating space for curiosity without shame—because nobody knows everything, and that’s okay.
Temperature Check🌡 – A check-in moment where the host and guests share how they’re doing, what’s on their minds, and maybe even slip in a little self-promo. It’s a warm, welcoming way to kick things off and build connections.
Doom Scrolling☠️ – A rundown of wild, thought-provoking, or just plain ridiculous stories from the news and social media. The host offers insights on how they relate to the episode’s theme—or to queer life in general.
Aight, So Boom…💥 – The main event of the show. This is where the host and any guests take a deep dive into the topic of the day, share stories, and offer reflections to wrap it all up.
